![]() The so-called food court is also worth avoiding, especially the oriental 'food'. This place is full of costermongers and spivs mostly selling crap that no sensible person needs. ![]() Skip the outlets as you can get everything you need right here. On our trip we had also visited the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets but we saw no good deals, and in the end though the Florida Mall had far better bargains and a nicer selection of shops. The other problem was that we parked in different areas too so it was cumbersome trying to coordinate for putting shopping into a car trunk rather than walking with bags everywhere. It’s quite a walk between the far ends of the mall too so have a plan of a place and time to meet up all together and a time when you’re leaving the mall and from which exit, for example the corridor to The Florida Hotel or West Entrance of Macy’s. You can quite easily lose each other which we did several times. It took a while to round everyone up when folks started leaving their places and walking through the mall. There were 9 of us when we visited and without dedicated free mall wifi we weren’t able to communicate properly with each other and had to hope we could connect in the stores we were in.Īt one point, two of my relatives were in Sears while I was at the other end at Macy’s and 2 others were in JC Penney and the rest were in the food court. The mall is huge! If going with a large group make sure you’ve got a plan. There's something for everyone at Florida Mall. If you want a good burger, go to Five Guys. ![]() The food court is adequate, but I was disappointed in the food quality at A&W Root Beer. The kids play area is also closed because of the virus. The Microsoft store has closed permanently, at least at this time. Among the bigger stores are JC Penney, Sears, Nordstrom and there is an Apple store. There's a sushi restaurant, if that's your "thing!" The food is on a conveyor belt and you grab what you want as it comes by. Great Italian food! There are several jewelry and shoe stores, naturally, but the stores run the gamut from average price to more high-end stores. There is a Buca de Beppo restaurant across from the Crayola store. In case you just can't get enough of shopping, The Florida Hotel is right there at the Mall with their main entrance being inside the Mall. Masks are required, naturally, and there are multiple kiosks that sell only masks. Sadly, the M&M's store has closed, but the Crayola store is still there. Some stores remained closed, but the vast majority of them were open. People are looking for things to do right now and shopping at the mall is a good, free alternative. While only having one floor, it's huge! And it was crowded. Aesthetic - Tollan Kim.With so many other places remaining closed, I spent a lot of time at this Mall.
